Progress Report: Tyler Nordgren Interview

On Friday, November 6th we had the opportunity to interview astronomer, artist, and the author of both Stars Above, Earth Below and Sun, Moon, Earth— Tyler Nordgren. Tyler was a fount of information regarding the stars. He told us about the history of astronomy, including when the practice of watching the stars to see patterns and tell time transformed from astrology in to the beginnings of the science we know today.

Again, we learned more about the different myths surrounding the Pleiades and Tyler gave us some insight in to maybe why there are so many similar myths about that cluster of stars!
